This will capture the movement of actors' bodies, facial expressions and voices to achieve realistic looking cutscenes and character dialogues. Today sees the addition of performance motion capture too. The main protagonist of the game is a young male blacksmith, but there will now be a line of quests where players take on the role of a smart and stealthy female as she saves the lead character at the start of the game. As well as the live in-game period music, which will be recorded by Czech masters from ancient song books, and the symphonic orchestra soundtrack that had been unlocked at the end of January, there will also be a playable female character added to the game. With funding still trickling in, the company has smashed through some of their stratch goals too. There has been some criticism that the promised free DLC, comprising of a dog companion and playable female character and part of the Kickstarter’s stretch goals, weren’t coming to the game. That being said, the developer is still working to fix numerous bugs and glitches that plague the game. Warhorse Studios’ Kingdom Come: Deliverance has been out for roughly a month now and sold more than 1 million copies, which is pretty good for a crowd-funded project that’s been in development for almost eight years.
